Merry Christmas

This kid had the coolest face to ever emerge from the 1800's.
so I drew him with a little different background than I found him,
but I think it's crazy that a kid as small as him could work such crazy Yobs.

The Outlaw:
Sharpie on 7x5.5 inches
Yes, this is what I do in Theology 2. I'll bet that you thought I spent my time thinking about deep theological stuff (which I do), but really I just draw all day (which I don't, just part of it), and I never do homework. Ever. (Not really actually, I do a lot of Homework.) Well, now you know the truth, and you will never think of me the same (Well you probably already knew that I draw a lot because you are looking at my art blog, and you probably wont look at me any differently than you did before, but I just though that I should say that for dramatic affect.)
Here is a little bit of experimenting with line work.
Covered in Cowardice:
8"x8" Ink on Paper.
Adventures in Absent-mindedness:
2.5"x8" Ink on Paper.
I have been wanting to create more Adventures in Absent-mindedness,
But I keep Forgetting.
hmm...

Who doesn't love a Panda at a diner?
This short comic is about a real person that I met, he was in the Red Army starting at age 12, he started fighting at the Battle of Stalingrad at age 14. It is very loosely based on something he said.
I love coffee, I hope you love coffee, and if you don't like coffee, well, that is just tragic. because it's what's for dinner.
Here is some new stuff that I have been working on lately, the first here is a design for the Biola College Republicans.
And here is a drawing of the Frightful Forest.

I did this piece for a show that my friend is curating for an art class. The theme is shelter, and I began to think of Luke 12 which I had been reading earlier in the week, and how many people struggle to reconcile their concepts of a sovereign God, and a fallen world.

I was reading A Mother Cries At Midnight from Odd Jobs, and I the imagery really inspired me, so while listening to a lecture on Rabbinic Judaism, I sketched this out.
"And I wondered, inn the unguarded moment, who would mourn for me?
From deep in the woods, I heard La Llorona let loose her painful lament."
So, I have finally started an Art Blog of my very own. It will mostly be related to character design and Illustration, and it will (hopefully) have new art on a fairly regular basis. So, enjoy. Here is the first piece.
