Here is the revamped design, I know the opacity is a little off, but I am mostly playing with the colors right now, so let me know what you think.

totally awesome, i like how you have used your new technique on this quy, looks great.
I think the color choice is good with the yellow on blue. the record glasses seem like they need to be a little bit more incorporated into the rest of the design. they "pop" out a lot.
