I did this piece for a show that my friend is curating for an art class.  The theme is shelter, and I began to think of Luke 12 which I had been reading earlier in the week, and how many people struggle to reconcile their concepts of a sovereign God, and a fallen world.

yeah it is finished as is. I might add to it later, but all we were supposed to turn in was a sketch.

wowch. That was a "wow" + "ouch". Matt said poignant. That's a real word.

The shadowing in the homeless figure's face is phenomenal.
